Workmaster provides several powerful tools for testing your app, ensuring that you can effectively preview and interact with your project across different environments. These testing options include:

Simulator Mode

Test and interact with your app directly within the Workmaster platform using the embedded simulator. No external devices or tools are required.

To test and interact with your app using the embedded simulator within Workmaster, follow these steps:

• Step 1: Click on the Run tab in the left menu to open the simulator.

• Step 2: The simulator will load, and you will be prompted to configure the app settings.

• Step 3: Under App Settings, select the Initial Page. Typically, this will be the Frame page, but you can choose another as needed.

• Step 4: Once the initial page is set, you can start navigating through the app as an end user.

• Step 5: Interact with the app’s different screens, perform tasks, and test functionality in real-time within the simulator environment.

This mode enables seamless testing without the need for external devices or additional tools, providing a quick and efficient way to review your app's behavior.

Online App Access

Workmaster generates a live URL for your app, allowing you to access it online in real-time.

To share and test your app online in real-time, follow these steps:

• Step 1: While in Run mode, click on the Share icon in the Top Bar.

• Step 2: In the Share URL dialog, a live link to your app will be displayed.

• Step 3: Copy the link or click Open in New Tab to view the app in a browser.

• Step 4: Share the URL with others to allow them to interact with the app as it would appear in a live environment.

This feature provides a real-time online version of your app, allowing you to easily share and preview it across different devices and browsers.

QR Code Scanning

Workmaster also provides a QR code for your app, allowing you to instantly test it on a real mobile device. In the Share URL dialog, you will see the QR code below the link. Scan the QR code using your mobile device to access the app in hybrid mode, a powerful feature that allows you to interact with your app on a mobile device without the need to download it from an app store.

To test your app on a real mobile device using QR code scanning, follow these steps:

• Step 1: While in Run mode, click on the Share icon in the Top Bar.

• Step 2: In the Share URL dialog, locate the QR Code displayed below the app link.

• Step 3: Open the camera or a QR code scanning app on your mobile device.

• Step 4: Scan the QR code to instantly open and interact with your app in hybrid mode.

This powerful feature allows you to directly access and test your app on mobile devices, providing a seamless testing experience without the need for app store deployment.
