WS Radar Chart

The WS Radar Chart Widget is used to compare multivariate data across several categories, where each axis extends from the center. It’s well-suited for performance analysis, skill assessments, or feature comparisons.

Step 1: Add the Widget

Open the Widget Panel, go to the Charts & Tables section, and drag the WS Radar Chart Widget onto your page.

Step 2: Connect to Data Model

With the WS Radar Chart selected, open the Property Editor and select a Data Model containing categorical (axes) and numerical (values) fields.

Step 3: Configure Row (Axes)

Set up the Row, which defines the axes radiating outward from the center (e.g., departments, KPIs, product features).

Step 4: Add and Configure Datasets

Under Datasets, choose the numerical field(s) to plot.

  • Column: Pick a numerical field (e.g., score, rating, percentage).

  • Summarize By: Select aggregation (average, max, sum, etc.).

Multiple datasets will display as overlapping polygons, allowing for direct comparisons.

Step 5: Preview and Interact

In Run Mode, hover over data points for tooltips. Compare shapes visually to identify strengths, weaknesses, or trends.
