Image Uploader

The Image Uploader widget allows users to upload and display image files on a page. It is designed to support commonly used image formats and is ideal for forms or components where users need to attach photos or graphics.

  • Uploading profile pictures or avatars

  • Adding product images in catalog or admin views

  • Submitting scanned documents or photos through forms

  • Attaching media files to content submissions (e.g., blog posts or tickets)

Widget Properties

When an Image Uploader widget is added to a page, the Panel Tab includes a configuration option:

Select Allowed Format

  • Restricts the accepted image file types

  • Helps prevent unsupported or incorrect uploads

  • Ensures consistency for display and processing

Step-by-Step Guide to Use the Image Uploader Widget

Step 1: Add the Widget

Open the Widgets Panel, navigate to the Fields & Headers section, and drag & drop the Image Uploader widget onto the page at your desired location.

Step 2: Configure Main Settings

Click on the widget to open its basic settings in the Panel Tab. Customize appearance, label, or any layout preferences as needed to fit your design.

Step 3: Set Widget Properties

Locate the Select Allowed Format option in the Panel tab. Use it to define which image file types (e.g., .jpg, .png, .gif) are allowed for upload, ensuring users submit only valid image formats.

Step 4: Preview or Finalize

Click on the Run/Preview icon to test the image upload functionality. Ensure that the file restriction works as expected and the image displays correctly after upload.
