Toolbar

When you select a widget inside a page in Workmaster’s Page Editor, a toolbar appears. This toolbar provides quick actions to help you navigate, organize, and manage widgets more efficiently.

Toolbar Options

1. Select Parent

   • Moves the selection to the parent container of the currently selected widget.

   • Useful when you want to adjust the layout or properties of the container rather than the child widget.

2. Select Left Sibling

   • Switches the selection to the widget immediately to the left (or before) the currently selected widget in the same container.

   • Makes it easy to move across items horizontally.

3. Select Right Sibling

   • Switches the selection to the widget immediately to the right (or after) the currently selected widget in the same container.

   • Helps in navigating between widgets without clicking manually.

4. Duplicate Item

   • Creates a copy of the selected widget and places it in the same container.

   • Saves time when you need multiple similar elements (e.g., buttons, text boxes, images).

5. Delete Item

   • Removes the selected widget from the page.

   • Use with caution, as deleting will remove all settings and data bindings attached to that widget.

Why Use the Toolbar?

• Provides faster navigation between nested widgets.

• Improves workflow by reducing the need to manually reselect items.

• Allows quick duplication and cleanup of page elements.
