Process

The Process Tab in Workmaster is a powerful tool that allows you to design and manage business processes visually. It enables you to create, modify, and track processes through a user-friendly interface. Within the Process Tab, you can define tasks, workflows, roles, and data integrations, ensuring your processes are dynamic and efficient. Whether you're building a simple approval workflow or a more complex, multi-stage process, the Process Tab provides all the tools you need to manage your business processes.

The Process Tab is organized into two main components:

1. Process Selection Panel

The Process Selection Panel allows users to browse and select from existing processes. From here, you can:

  • View all available processes in your workspace

  • Open a process for editing

  • Create a new process

This panel serves as the entry point for managing processes.

2. Process Editor

The Process Editor is the central working area for creating and configuring processes. It consists of three parts:

a. Process Blocks

Process blocks represent the building elements of a workflow, such as tasks, decisions, or actions. Users can select blocks from the available options and place them onto the canvas.

b. Process Property Editor

Located on the right side, the property editor is used to configure details of either the overall process or individual blocks. For example, you can:

  • Assign responsibilities for a task

  • Define input and output data

  • Set rules and conditions for process flow

c. Process Canvas

The canvas is the workspace in the middle of the screen. It is used to arrange process blocks and connect them to form a complete workflow.
