Set Locking On User Selection

The Set Locking On User Selection action controls the locking mode of the user selection view in the process diagram panel. This is useful for restricting or allowing changes to user assignments in workflow tasks, depending on the current process state or business rules.

Properties and Explanation

Hidden: Select the locking mode to apply to the user selection view:

• Unlock: Users can freely select or change assignments.

• Partial Lock: Some restrictions are applied; users may be able to view but not change certain assignments.

• Full Lock: All user selection controls are locked; no changes can be made.

• The action updates the user selection view immediately, enforcing the selected locking mode.

• Use this action to prevent unauthorized changes to task assignments or to enforce workflow policies at specific steps.
