Show Side Panel

Show Side Panel is an action in rule panel which opens a panel from the side of the screen to show extra information or options without leaving the current page.

Properties and Explanation

Here are the steps to follow in order to use the Show Side Panel action:

1

A toggle option (ON/OFF) that determines whether the side panel behaves modally. When enabled, it prevents user interaction with the background content by visually dimming it and blocking all clicks outside the panel until the panel is closed.

2

Show Side Panel At:

Specifies the position from which the side panel opens on the screen — either Left or Right.

3

Page to show as Side Panel:

Specifies which page will be displayed inside the side panel when it opens.

A Home Page is created with frames (like bullets), and clicking on a specific frame opens a side panel. The position of the panel (left or right) is set in the action, while the specific frame that triggers it is defined in the event settings.
