Side Panel

The Side panel Widget allows you to display a temporary panel that slides in from the side of the screen. It’s useful for presenting additional content, menus, or actions without leaving the current page. Side panels improve user flow by keeping primary content visible while providing easy access to secondary features.

Common Use Cases

• Showing app menus or settings • Displaying filters or search options • Presenting detailed content without leaving the main page • Providing quick access to tools or shortcuts

Widget Properties

The widget properties are similar those for the Show Side Panel action.

How to Use:

Step 1: Create a page of type 'Side Panel'

Create a new page of type side panel, and design its contents using the page editor. Add icons, navigations or clickable widgets linked to rules that perform useful actions.

Step 2: Add the Widget From the Elements panel, select the Side Panel widget. Drag and drop it onto your page. Like all Navigation containers, the widget does not have a set user interface, you can add text, icons or images inside it to give it the look you need.

Step 3: Select Side Panel Page & Options Open the Menu widget's settings in the Property Editor, and select the page created in Step 1 to display inside the popup, and also the menu's alignment relative to the menu widget itself.
