User moves the process forward or back

The "Form State Changed" event is triggered when the user attempts to move the process forward or backward in the workflow. This event can be used to initiate rules or actions in response to state transitions, such as validations, notifications, or updates.

Properties and Explanation

To use this event, configure the following settings:

  • On Forward Flow: Enable this option to trigger the event when the process moves forward.

  • On Backward Flow: Enable this option to trigger the event when the process moves backward.

Example Usage

Suppose you want to trigger a rule whenever the process moves forward to the next step:

  • Enable On Forward Flow.

If you want to trigger a rule when the process is sent back to a previous step:

  • Enable On Backward Flow.

When the specified state change occurs, the associated rules or actions (such as saving data, sending notifications, or updating the UI) will be triggered.
