Page

Pages whose type is just 'page' can be used inside a 'Page Container' widget. Such pages are usually the most common ones in an app.

Frame

When an app starts, it shows a 'Frame' page. (if an app was created using the [+] button on the home page, its first page is set to be a Frame page by default).

A frame page is any page that contains a page container. Its possible for an app to have several frame page, but most commonly have only one frame page. All other pages are shown inside the frame's page container.

The Frame has the following areas:

A - Page Container

Page containers are special containers that show other pages. Each page container has a unique id, that can be specified as the target of navigation.

B - Navigation Widgets

A Navigation widget is a clickable area on the screen - when clicked it will show its target page inside its target page container.

C - Back (History) Widgets

A back navigation widget is a clickable area on screen. When clicked it will reset the visible page inside the specified target area to its previous page.

How it works

With the above in place, it is easy to see how the page structure of an app works now. When the user clicks an item from the top bar , it triggers a navigation widget to change the page in the frame's page container.

When the user clicks the 'back' arrow on the top bar, the page changes back to the original content.

A single page container can be the target of operations from many navigation points. For example, in a phone interface, a side panel can contain the navigation and "back" links that trigger the navigation on the main page.
