Check Relationship Fields Errors

The "Check Relationship Fields Errors" condition checks for errors in the fields of one or more selected relationships within a form. When executed, it scans the specified relationships and their summary forms for validation errors. If any errors are found, it can display error messages and trigger associated actions. This condition helps ensure that all related data is valid before proceeding.

Properties and Explanation

To use this condition, configure the following settings:

  • Select Relationship: Choose one or more relationships to check for errors.

  • Show Error?: If enabled, displays an error message when a validation error is found in the selected relationship fields.

  • Check Either a Form is not Visible: If enabled, the condition will also check fields in forms that are not currently visible.

Example Usage

Suppose you want to ensure there are no errors in the relationship "OrderItems" before allowing the user to submit the form:

  • Set Select Relationship to "OrderItems".

  • Enable Show Error? to display error messages if any field is invalid.

  • Optionally, enable Check Either a Form is not Visible to include hidden forms in the check.

If any errors are found, the condition will show an error message and prevent further actions until the errors are resolved.
